Frequently Asked Questions
All invites are sized 5 x 7 inches to fit an A7 envelope.
Will you handle the invitation printing for me?
I am not currently offering printing services for party invitations. I do, however, take on a minimum number of custom wedding invitation suite designs each year. With the custom design process, I handle printing, and the stamp stuff and seal service for you. If this is something you are interested in please email firstname.lastname@example.org for availability.
At checkout, select how you will be printing these files – (1) at home, (2) at a printing shop, (3) using an online printing company.
You will put in your wording details when checking out.
A proof will be sent to you by email within 3 business days. You will then have the opportunity to request any edits that need to be made.
After you approve the design, the high resolution PDF file will be emailed to you.
Printing at Home
You will receive a PDF file on a letter sized page (8.5″ x 11″) laid out with 2 invitations per page so you can print and cut them using the trim marks included in your file to help you conserve paper. You can print as many as you would like. I suggest using a heavy weight paper (at least 80 lbs) in a white or neutral color for the best results.
*Tip: Most print shops will cut your invitations out for you for a small fee
Printing at a local Print Shop
You will be sent PDF files, with multiple designs per letter sized (8.5″ x 11″) page with trim marks. The shop should have the ability to print and cut your invitations using the trim marks provided. Simply download your files, and take them into the print shop on a USB drive.

Recommendations: Office Max, Staples, FedEx Office Print & Ship Center
*Tip: It is a good idea to test a print of your design before ordering a large quantity.
Printing with an Online Printing company
You will be provided with JPEG files - two versions, one with bleed and one without. Check with your printer to see which they prefer.
I recommend ordering a sample of each design before ordering large batches to check for print quality / compatibility.
When ordering, I recommend ProDigital Photos, or Catprint.com
If using ProDigital – select the correct size “Plopper” card and load your images in, following the instructions.
At Catprint, select “Custom Sizes” from the bottom, and proceed with your order.
Make sure to select the correct size for each item in the suite – ProDigital Photos has all of the standard PW Design sizes available, and Catprint.com lets you select your own size.
